This product is unusable. It barely has enough room for a baby and does not leave room at ALL between you and the seat to even sit in. I read reviews saying this but wanted to try for myself. Big mistake. I took it back right away. Even tried it on two bikes. Garbege.

Very happy with this product, easy to assemble and my son absolutely loves it!!My son is 4 and a half years old and fits in the seat really good, having him in the front allows him to see the open road and gives me a piece of comfort as he's right in front of me instead of behind. My vision is not blocked at all, I do have to turn my legs outwards just a tad when peddling but that would be expected. We get so many compliments on it when riding around the neighborhood. My only regret is not picking this up earlier.

Il faut s'habituer à pédaler les jambes un peu plus à l'extérieur.
Je peux maintenant transporter mon petit garçon et tirer mon plus grand avec la barre "Trail-Gator"

Great Kid Carrier!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old and he LOVES it.
It took around 15 minutes to install on my full suspension mountain bike (M) 17". I'm not sure why it wouldn't fit most bikes (as stated in some of the other reviews) because the bar is adjustable. The seat position is also adjustable - front to back - to accommodate for different frame sizes (or if you just want to change the location of your child.
You do need to change your riding style. I had to lower my seat because you don't have the same stand over height you normally do because of the kid in front of you.
Having your child in front has a number of benefits 1. you can see what they are up to.
2. you can point stuff out for them to see.
3. They can look up and make sure you are still there.
I was a little concerned when I first installed it because it looks pretty small. However both of my kids fit -- one's 2 and the other 5.

Q: In terms of safety, is this seat approved for use in Canada? I noticed that there is a sticker indicating that it meets the safety requirements for the USA, but nothing for Canada.

A: The best way to determine whether the Weeride support bar is to see an image of the bike. The support bar fits most bike stems and we do supply long bolts on demand.
