Solid Performer

I bought this machine on sale three years ago and reviewing it now that it has had the time to prove itself. Exceptional value for the money and very dependable. Fresh high test and stabilizer over the winter are a must for this and any seasonal gas powered tools. My only minor complaint is with the spring loaded handle. It hampers easy up and down movement of the nozzle and throws off the balance point. I was packing the handle opening with bits of gravel which constantly worked their way out and finally decided on a more permanent fix. Removing the two Torx screws on the springs allows access to the rubber cup at the base of the handle. I put in a bed of autobody filler, replaced the cup and handle and then topped off the remaining space with filler. The handle is now solid and I don’t have to fight the cushion when moving the nose up and down. I find the easier control less tiring on my hand. I’m sure that vibration reduction was meant to lessen fatigue but the amount of movement in the handle just caused the exact opposite. Generally a super performer with lots of velocity.

I have a feeling you figured out by now that this model is not vacuum-capable? I'm afraid we don't have ANY Weed Eater blowers that vacuum.
