OVERPRICED /DOESN'T LAST VERY LONG

It's an example of a single source pricing strategy. The price is based largely on what they feel the consumer will pay b's buying a whole new can. Not manufacturing cost. The replacements don't last as they crack and lose fuel when pouring fairly quickly. I am switching all my cans over to Sceptre because their replacements are 60% of the cost and a much more durable product. Can't compare the quality of thickness I'd materials used.

These Flex Spouts Break Easily

I have several Wedco gas cans and I that if you leave the flex spout in the can with gas, the gas will weaken the plastic and you will be lucky to get 3 months out of a new spout. They really should be more durable.

Wedco Spout

We have been using the Wedco spout with our gas cans for years. It is designed to bend at any angle to make pouring the large heavy gas cans into the tank easier for me to handle. I like the easy to use cap as it helps transporting the gas can when full to prevent spillage. They last for several years and we are fans of them!

Very expensive replacement part #2

I lost the gas cap to my gas container. The price point was very close to the point of making it better to buy an entirely new gas can. Were it not for the fact that I would have to throw the old one away which seemed wasteful, I reluctantly purchased this replacement part.
