Weber Spirit Works Well, But Has Shortcomings

It works nicely, but I don't think it is as good as the predecessors. The cast iron grill is half the thickness, so less heat retention when searing. So I left out the new grill and placed in the old one. Flavourizer bars seem very thin and cheap, unlike those in the old bbq. The packaging was absolutely a feat of engineering, although one panel had rubbing marks from shipping. It came up to temperature speedily and cooked pretty nicely, which is the most important test.
