Stayed dry!

Used this during a VERY rainy weekend and we stayed dry. Easy to set up. The pole for the fly is a bit tricky but by brother showed me a trick when we set it up a second time... put the pole in the fly first, then put the fly over the tent. Much simpler! We're a family of 4 with camp cots and it was spacious enough for us!

Not worth the money, don't buy

This 8 person tent came without instructions which made the fly nearly impossible to install, maybe there's a trick. There is only one pole for the fly and you need to be 6'5" tall and have incredible strength and dexterity to insert the pole ends into two tiny pockets at the sides of the fly. I can understand how some reviewers said they broke the pole. A standard cot barely fits width wise and there is no vestibule, just the fly that overhangs a bit. You will definitely bring the outside into the tent. Not worth the hassle and need two tall people to set up. Once set up it has decent zippers and ventilates well. White fabric will get dirty quickly. Very hard to pack it back up into the bag too,

This tent was purchased to replace a 10yo of similar design. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by UV over the years. Only one problem... this tent cannot be put up by one person shorter than 6'3" in 15 minutes. Also one of the corner straps on the fly was sewed on backwards.

Quality tent for a family

Great tent for a family. We had both a queen and single blow up mattress and a pack and play inside with one try of room to spare. The fly is versatile for different conditions. I’m 6’4” and have plenty of head room. Very easy to set up

The poles WILL snap and Woods will NOT help you.

We've owned this tent for 3 years now. First time setting it up a pole broke and what do you know, it's not a warranty issue so tough luck. Canadian Tire does not sell replacement pole segments for their products and Woods will not help you either. Over the past 3 years of ownership the poles have broken every single year and I have had to pay $40 each time to get it repaired at an outdoor shop unrelated to CT. Canadian Tire should not be selling this product and I promise YOU WILL REGRET this purchase no matter how low the sale price is. I could go on about the positives of this tent but it's entirely pointless when the tent will snap and fall on you while you're just setting it up or if there happens to be wind.

No, I do not recommend this product.
