Good tent

Easy to set up, roomy for two people with gear. Packs down small for a larger tent. Fly works well to keep the rain out, lots of vents for warmer weather.

Very thin floor

We purchased this tent on sale as we wanted to have a 4 season option to add to our camping gear. We used it for two nights and upon packing it up saw that there was a significant tear in the floor. Canadian Tire offered a replacement or store credit to return. The floor is soooo thin that I am not willing to try another one, even with a footprint. We do a lot of camping and none of our other tents have ever gotten a tear. Other than the floor being awful, I really liked this tent! Based on other reviews I was expecting the zippers to be terrible but they were pretty good. Decent headroom, the vestibule area was a nice size, I found set up to be easy and intuitive. If Woods were to change the floor to a thicker material I might try it again!

Bought this product and it came used from the store, selling a used tent for full price is beyond absurd, last one in stock isn’t even the same tent “new model same number” Canadian tire is quickly becoming the worst store in Canada

4 season tent was poorly built and bad warranty

Poor quality. Seam was split from day one. Fly looked good. My son tried to return in a week as I think the design was going to fail, due to stress points from poles. Looked like poles too long for material. Spruce Grove Store did not even look at tent and would not give in store credit. We had a receipt. Be very careful buying a woods tent as warranty is the worse in the business. So many better tents for same money. Woods quality has gone down.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Anybody who has bought this tent, would you say you need a footprint underneath to help with cold/dampness?

  • A: I have had a few tents over the years and before footprints were available l would put down a tarp just to protect the floor. The footprint is the same material the tent floor not sure how water proof it is, but it does give some protection and helps keep the tent floor clean.

Q: would you recommend this tent for backcountry camping, light enough and compact for a backpack ?

  • A: No, this tent is about 12 lbs and not very compact. If you are splitting the tent up across more than one person it could be managable. I have it for kayak/canoe camping (and car accessible winter camping in the snow) where gear weight isn't as big a concern.

  • A: There are two pockets inside of the inner tent, which can be used as storage pockets. There is also a sky liner on the top of the inner tent, which also can be used for storage or light.

Q: Some reviews/questions say this tent has 2 doors/entry points. I'm wondering if this includes the vestibule as an entry or if there is in fact another door on the other side of the tent that just isn't shown in the supplied pictures.
