WD-40 Specialist Dry Lubricant is a versatile lubricating spray for a number of scenarios and environments. Its anti-friction formula makes it perfect for high use or repetitive mechanisms that require protection from daily wear and tear, such as door and window tracks, blades and drill bits, conveyor belts, chains and rollers, table saws, power tools and so much more. It’s quick-drying, and won’t attract damaging elements like dust, dirt and oil. It also makes an extremely effective mould release agent. Our anti friction dry lubricant works through a range of temperatures, from -45°C to 260°C, and is safe to use on metals, glass and plastics.

  • Provides 5x greater wear protection than the competition for longer-lasting lubrication and reduced application frequency

don't use it on gears

a month ago
I tried this to lubricate my CNC machine's ball screws. While it did an excellent job at cleaning the gears, it was of no use for lubricating, leaving my machine screaming like a banshee. I ended up cleaning it all off and switched to a grease with PTFE, which fixed the squealing and works great.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great features EXCEPT for getting the can open.

I have used this identical product in the past. Except for the time it takes me to get it working (I hate the way it has to open),the actual product is wonderful. I only bought another one because no other business in my town sold WD-40 with silicone.

Q: Can I use this on my sailboat mast sail slot to help raise the sail better. It is hard sometimes to get the sail to the top of the mast because of friction. Will it damage the sailcloth section that runs in the mast track slot?
