Good idea but not perfect

I love the idea of this product... I like that it's rechargeable, that it fits on my heavy duty pool pole, that it's easy to clean, that it does not require the pool's suction. HOWEVER, after using it this summer, I have found that it has a big flaw in that after the sand and silt get sucked into the canister, some of it escapes through the sides. I can see dirt being jetted out of the sides as I vacuum, so it just goes right back into the water. And the suction is not super strong, so you have to go very slowly. Overall, it's not a great solution unfortunately. I will likely try to sell this and get a robot vac.

really want to love this product

Went through about four Water Tech Pool Blasters, I honestly LOVE this product but the issue most of them have is they die after one season, considering this is a seasonal product, it should last for years. I have contacted Water Tech, they mentioned that when storing the product over the winter, we need to charge the battery once a month.....no where on the instructions does it state that. I've had my pool blaster a little over a year so the warranty is over. Just frustrating that they just don't last, not sure how some of these costumers had theirs for 5 years......seems crazy.

Failed Within a Year

I loved the convenience of this until (like most others) it failed to turn on. Canadian Tire does not carry this item anymore but fortunately it died with three weeks left to go on the warranty so I will be getting a store credit. Idea of this item is good but there is no quality to it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Battery wires are corroded

This is my second Pool Blaster vacuum. I bought a new one this year in May! Believe we got 3-4 years out of the other one! The first few uses were what I came to expect from the product - but then I started noticing when I took the top off to charge it - there was water - now, after 4 weeks all of the wires are corroded and it wont turn on!

Q: How can Watertech keep selling expensive products that only last one or two summers? Like many others who have commented, my vacuum no longer charges after 2 summers!! Very disappointed.

Q: Can u get parts for these vacuums I had mine for less then a year and where u plug in to recharge is not working I have tested the battery and switch and motor and the switch and plug won’t work
