Arrrrgh!

I've installed many different wall papers. This was by far the most difficult - nearly impossible - wall paper to handle. When the wall paper is wet it tears at the slightest touch. Advice: If you like the wallpaper (and it is quite nice to look at) don't wet it. Rather, use traditional paste on the wall. Then don't touch the wall paper until if fully dries.

Hard to trim

I bought this product a few weeks ago and when I hung it on the wall I couldn’t trim it properly it constantly tears rather then clean cuts, Ive used new blades on knife and razor blade cutters neither worked. Ive used this type of wallpaper many times before and never had an issue, what is the trick to this style?

I did my whole condo with this wallpaper on the bottom half of chair rail walls and it looks fantastic. It is super easy to install and the seams press together nicely you cannot tell where the pieces join. I have moved into a house now and am going to do the same thing. My only critique is that the material is soft, almost like foam so it does dent easily. I painted over hoping that it would harden it up, but it is still soft, but not a big deal. Also you do want your wall to be as smooth as possible as any lumps or bumps will show through.

Q: wall paper over textured walls? The previous owners of our house did a textured plaster over our bathroom walls, think hacienda, but horrible. Would this wallpaper work over our walls? Can you use it in a bathroom? What is the thickness of the paper?
