Tubing too thin, rusts through quickly

First the good. Every bend is precise and the hangers are welded exactly in the correct position. All welds are beautifully laid, likely by an automated process. Once installed, Walker exhaust systems fit exactly where the factory intended. My biggest gripe is the quality of the tubing. It's really light gauge and it rusts through very quickly, starting anywhere and everywhere there is a weld. This is the 3rd time in 8 years I've replaced the entire exhaust system on our 2005 Camry. I don't have a reasonable alternative to the Walker brand. I would gladly pay significantly more for a system that lasts more than 3 years. My best choice next time my be a custom bent exhaust. I've spent close to $5000 just in Walker parts in 8 years. In the battle between quality and price, quality lost badly.

A: This is not a manifold converter. It is just the converter. It has a 4 Bolt Welded Flange inlet and a 2.5inch O.D. outlet pipe.
