Wahl Trimmer

I bought this for my son, I've always been a big fan of Wahl but this trimmer is pure garbage! It is loud, pulls your hair more than cutting it. Cannot recommend this product. After buying this I wanted to beat my head against the Wahl.

Don't buy!

When we moved I could not find my original Wahl trimmer, so I purchased this one and used it a few of times. I wasn't too crazy with it and then I found my old one which I started using again. When the rechargeable battery started to get weak, I switched back to the newer one. I used it once and it worked good, but when I switched heads, the head I was using feel apart, a piece of the plastic had broken off that holds the spring inside. Therefore, rendering it useless. Wish I could find another, same as my original. Will be looking for another but not Wahl. It really doesn't concern me how much to pay within reason, as long as it is a lasting product.

Poor quailty

Bought this two weeks ago. Super loud and often pulls instead of trimming.
Buy a similar priced Braun and you will be happier with your purchase.

Pulling hair can sometimes be caused by not enough oil, or by blades somehow getting out of alignment. Therefore, we always recommend oiling the blades in the manner suggested in the instruction manual. Again we are sorry to hear and hope you have a nice day.

Waste of money

This lasted less than a year for me. The battery slowly died. Not even the charger could save it. The motor eventually started whirring between a low and high speed. This unit is also LOUD. My partner referred to it as "the lawnmower". For longer bearded folks this only goes up to about 0.5" trim length. Had a similar Wahl before this that actually lasted 4-5 years so not sure what changed with this one. Save your money or spend a few bucks more and get a trimmer with a better battery and more powerful motor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Semble un peu fragile par contre. La tête se détache facilement aux changements d'adaptateur, mais une fois en marche tout fonctionne bien. Pour le prix, c'est un bon achat.

Q: How does the detail attachment go on? Do you need to actually unscrew the regular trimmer head? If so, this seems very inconvenient. The instructions are very unclear on this.

A: Hi Beastie Boys.....Thank you for your question. If you place your thumbs under the front (the cutting part) of the blade and push up the trimmer blade will easily pop off. There is no screwing or unscrewing involved. The other blade will just snap on in the same location. If you have any trouble, please call us at 866-787-9245.
