Power Painter Plus

this Power Painter really lays it down..we paint sea containers with it and it works well with a 5200 series Water-base acrylic paint we use..reduce the paint with distilled water 10-15%..cleanup is a breeze,saves a lot of money over using solvent base paints..the Wagner cleans up easy and give it a shot of WD40 inside the atomizer valve and tip before reassembling it and storing. This Painter is loud and does make a lot of noise when painting but it doesnt bother us.
Yes, I recommend this product.

demande de la pratique mais fonctionne assez bien. Par contre pour le service alors la bonne chance. Quand on enregistre pour la garantie en français on se retrouve sur le service en Europe qui nous dit de rejoindre le service en amérique du nord J'ai envoyé 3 mails au service qui se trouve au états-unis et pas encore de réponse après 3 semaines

Wagner paint spayer ceiling spay issues

The Wagner paint spayer has problems (inconsistant spray, intemittant spray and clogging) when spaying ceilings. Especially when angles greater than 45 degrees. It is hard to gauge and when I spayed a 2400 square foot ceiling, it would have been easier to roll as it stopped many times and dripped and had uneven coverage and I had to spends extra time to go over areas. For regular walls and 45 degrees and less it was fine. Beware large ceiling jobs.
No, I do not recommend this product.

You're exactly right, we even say so in the manual. The Opti-Painter should not be tilted beyond 45 degrees towards the ceiling as it affects performance greatly. Works for 5 minutes then jams

Tried a latex paint, because it says that it works with latex. This clogged the piston several times. If you get only a few minutes of spray time and you are ok with cleaning it and unclogging several times, this sprayer is for you! If you don't like wasting your time on cleaning every few minutes, get a better sprayer, Wagner falsely advertises this as compatible with latex paint.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The Opti-Painter, never tip the sprayer at more than a 45 degree angle. Material could get into the turbine and damage the sprayer.

A: Generally speaking the Power Painter Plus will spray most paints with no thinning. Some of the one coat exterior paints (paint & primer in one) will spray more effectively with a paint additive like Floetrol, a Flood product or Wagner’s “Paint Easy”. These additives do not thin the paint but act as a conditioner which allows airless sprayers to spray the thick one coat paints more effectively.

A: If you wish to spray paint indoors, we would typically recommend a multi-use or HVLP sprayer such as our Wagner PaintREADY or Wagner Flexio sprayers. They will have much less overspray than a traditional airless sprayer.
