I will Never Use A Brush or Roller Again

I bought the Wagner Xtra Duty Sprayer to paint a small cement building. I believe it would have taken me two to three days with a brush and roller. It took me two hours with the sprayer. It took me 15 minutes to clean up my sprayer.
I will never again use a brush or roller on any paint job!!

I hate painting, I would rather move than paint.

I needed to paint about 50’ of new fence and re-paint about 300’ of OLD fence.
I use Dulux Weatherguard, a very thick acrylic latex. I have had somewhat limited success with these handheld sprayers in the past and was sceptical about this one.
It was perfect! It took me a bit if fiddling to get the settings right, but once I did it was amazing. Blower on high, paint flow set at 6.
The only thing that one needs to be repaired for is that when full of paint the unit is fairly heavy, the videos show ladies using it with two hands, sometimes me too.
Great tool, highly recommended.

Made a mess and almost ruined $600 worth of doors.

I bought this less than a week ago to paint interior pocket doors based on the reviews for use with thinned latex paint. Out of the box it worked great, and I was excited for future projects. After waiting 30 minutes to paint the second coat it started spattering the paint. Note that I cleaned the nozzle after the first coat and covered it after with a wet rag to prevent drying. The doors ended up with a decent finish so I painted a third time with the same spattering. I spent extra time reading the manual, following the instructions, and cleaned thoroughly. Upon trying to even out the spatters on a third try, paint was spraying with the trigger off. I turned off the blower and attempted to clean the nozzle. After this process, I started painting again and the blower got weak. I smelled the familiar smell of a burned out motor, and after shutting off and disassembling, I realized the blower was full of paint. Somehow paint had siphoned out of the bowl and back into the blower.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Stained fence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to stain about 250 linear feet of cedar fencing. Used Cabot wood stain and sealer from Lowes. Worked great and saved a significant amount of time. Used spray adjustment to get the right coverage.

Sprayer Drips paint no matter what I tried to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sprayer arrived and was well packaged. My first attempt at using the sprayer did not work out so well. It left drips with the paint. I followed the instructions but the drips turned into runs. I took it apart cleaned it and still had drips.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: We don't suggest using the Control Spray X-Duty on your car. The nozzle that comes with it is meant for spraying thin stain on large projects like your fence, deck, or walls. The Flexio 595, with the Detail Finish nozzle, would do a much better job.
