I bought this unit to spray my deck and railing. It works very well. I like the simplicity of design and the minimal number of parts. This makes it easy to clean and maintain. Despite having to fill the paint pot frequently, I found this to be rather minimal overall. The instructions with that came with the unit were clear and useful, and I had no problem getting up and going and knowing how to disassemble for cleaning. I found spray coverage and delivery of stain on the deck to be very good, no spitting or clotting at all. My best endorsement for this product would be saying I would not hesitate to buy again.

Our smallest sprayer works best with thin materials on small projects. Add your finish to the cup, thinned if needed to atomize properly. Up to 20% thinning with water, for water based materials is fine. You only have fluid flow control. If it spits, reduce the flow rate, if not, then increase it until it does, then back off a little. Spray from 6" away and apply a wet coat for the best results. Call us for more help at 1-800-328-8251.

Good with some watch watch outs

Did a good job- had no clogging or operational issues. The regulator on the trigger was useless and fell off. Regulated the spray by hand. Also, the stain container is way too small. Spent most of my time refilling it. First stain sprayer I’ve used so not sure if the receptacle size is standard. Overall- good. I stained about 250 feet of fencing, single side, in a few hours and used 5 gallons of stain.

Q: Automotive? I was just wondering if this product could be used to paint my car?

A: Car paints have different thinners and hardeners, they can also effect the plastic used in the sprayer. Do NOT use this for car paints! It is not made for it. See the other car painting items in the automotive section of Canadian Tire. Most guns there are good for primer etc. that they carry. Spray painting your car can cost a LOT more, and you really have to know what you are doing! S o look it up to do it right...you have to prepare the surface before painting it as well, or the paint will just flake off. If you have a good car still, do it right, and save time and money in the long run!

Q: Can you paint overhead with this sprayer?

A: Yes you can. Turn the suction tube around so it is pointing towards the back of the paint container. Then you can tilt the gun between 45 and 60 degrees upward to paint your ceiling. You cannot point directly up at 90 degrees. For more application technique answers call us at 1-800-328-8251.

A: Yes, make sure to stand back a little and practice on old pc if wood before you start on cabinets to get the right rhythm. Once you have a speed that works you will be good.

A: You can spray acrylic paint without diluting it with Wagner 150. This is an excellent product! We have used ours for painting the garage overhead door, front door and lattice in our yard.
