A little mixed about this mop... it works on hardwood floors and staircases... easy to squeeze out and rinse...just don't use it on tiles, 'cause I am not convinced it will do a good job there.

the vileda ultramax mop is a great product for many reasons for starters I love the fact that i can take the microfiber mop bottom off and wash it , this product has out lasted every other mop i have had as far as wear and it has a to endure alot since i have a company that revolves around cleaning ,the handle extends or decreases which is also great to meet everybodies comfort . its also light weight , and is easily found in stores for these reasons I definitley would recommend this product to anyone.

Cette vadrouille est fantastique! Avec le sceau qui va avec, on peut l'essorer avec l'essoreuse intégrée au sceau. Elle lave aussi bien le plancher que les murs et le plafond. C'est très facile d'utilisation. Passer la un peu humide sur un plancher flottant pour enlever la poussière et les traces de pied nu ou de pattes de chiens!
Sérieusement, ça ne vaut pas la peine de s'en passer et de perdre du temps à se salir les mains à tordre une vadrouille avec ses mains! En plus, ça lave beaucoup mieux qu'avec une vadrouille traditionnelle ou une vadrouille de type éponge. Après l'utilisation on la met dans la laveuse et le tour est joué!

- A: Yes the Vileda Ultramax Mop (42-9362) can be used as a dry dust mop on hard floor surfaces. If dry dust mop use is the priority over wet/dry versatility then we would recommend the Vileda Fibro Contact Mop (42-9651). It has a larger mop surface area and is specifically designed for dry dusting floors and walls.10 years agoHelpful?
Q: What are the differences between the Vileda Fibro and Ultramax mops? I had the Ultramax and loved it.

- A: I e-mailed Vileda with this question, and this is what they sent me, hope it helps: The Fibro-Contact: you have to wring it by hand; the pad is made of cotton and polyester. The UltraMax: you can wring it by hand or you can purchase the bucket and wringer (grey) to wring the mop without touching it. The pad is 10 % polyamide and 90% polyester. You can not interchange a pad from Fibro-Contact (pockets to insert the mop head) to the UltraMax ( the pad is attach by snaps) handle and vice versa.15 years agoHelpful?
