I’ve owned my kettle for a little over a year, the lid is rusting. It’s garbage now, don’t waste your money!

Plastic parts contact with hot drinking watwer

I bought this kettle, but I have to return it. I believe that for the price they charge for it, no plastic parts should come into contact with hot drinking water. I don't understand how such a high-priced product can have plastic parts. Doesn't the manufacturer understand this? Also, I don't like the temperature at which the kettle shuts off when boiling. It's expensive, but not worth it, so unfortunately, I have to return it and buy a kettle without plastic parts.

Very disappointing - temperature not what it should be - especially for boiling water for tea. Strainer in spout fell out & could not get it to stay in so had to go to store to examine the one on display. No where in the parts listing is there a strainer listed. Glad it was on sale as it wasn't worth the sale price Never mind the original price. Paderno should be ashamed of this product.

Q: How long is the power cord?

A: I didn't do an exact measurement, but the cord's a little longer than two feet. You can coil some of it up in the base, though, to help with counter space.
