It took a few sharpens to get the edge back. The key thing for me is not to put too much pressure on the knife and let the abrasive do its work.

A: works very well for kitchen knives and scissors. I would guess, as long as the outdoor/survial knives are not too big, that it would work equaly as well.

A: No not at all! No knife sharpener can do this as far as I understand. It’s like a chainsaw that has teeth the serrated knife needs individual tooth sharpening like a chainsaw. If anyone else has something to add be my guest! :)
