This microwave is less then a year old and it's starting to spark. Very disappointed. Thought it would last a lot longer.

Q: Is this one of those microwaves that beeps every 2 minutes when done, on and on and on until you HAVE TO get up and shut the beep off? I won't have another one of those nuisances in my house ever again. Who thought this would be a nice feature to have?

A: So I bought one, and as much as I Iike most features, it DOES keep on beeping over and over. Moveover, you can't program time at 0-level power to avoid the beeping; it won't accept 0 level. Why don't they at least allow a way to disable this annoying "feature"?

A: It is a reliable brand. The only thing that I don't like is when I make popcorn in my popcorn bowl, after the popcorn has popped and I go to melt the butter for my popcorn, it shuts itself off and then I have to reset the clock on it

Q: Do Paderno microwaves beep when plugged it/powered on?

A: Mine does. Keeps beeping every 2 minutes until you get up and deal with it. Drives me crazy. Does anyone know if this feature can be disabled? I can't even add a cook-time of 99:99 at power level 0 to delay that beeping over and over. Won't accept power level 0.
