I returned it because cheap glue.

Totally useless. I tried to fix a very small hole in a tube tire, and the patch cannot hold, even following precisely their instruction. It seems the glue is not good at all.

Q: Is this just a temporary repair, or will it last for a mini van tire.

A: A properly repaired tire using both a Plug & Patch can and will last for the remaining useful life of the tire, assuming all damage to the tire is repaired. Executing a Plug & Patch repair does involve removing the tire, and inspecting and repairing the inside. Anything less, such as a plug-only repair from the exterior, will serve as a temporary repair and require immediate attention from an automotive mechanic/technician, such as those at your local Canadian Tire.

Q: Will this work on rubber boots?

A: We typically don’t have any experience or knowledge of anyone using patches in this kit (22-5-60184-VF PATCH KIT/100 pc) for rubber boots. There can be a variety of rubber composites (referring to the boot material) out there. However, there is a good chance one of the round feather edge tire patches could work. The customer should follow the same instructions on the back of the box for repairing a tire, especially the buffing of the area first, if the boot has a shiny, gloss-like finish.

Q: Will this work on the inside of an A.T.V. tire? I was told a A.T.V. tire is harder to patch then a car tire and was wondering if this would work?

A: The patches in the 09-2106 22-5-60184-VF PATCH KIT/100 pc will work on the inside of an A.T.V tire. However, it must be noted this is only a temporary tire repair and must have professional permanent repair done as soon as possible with a plug/patch combo.
