Bad product

I bought this product to repair the aluminum fuel tank on my truck. The product is supposed to have 8 minutes working time. After kneading the product for two minutes I opened the pouch and started to apply the epoxy to the tank. The epoxy in the pouch got really hot, like burning hot and was hard in a minute. I had just enough time to embed the fabric before it was unworkable. Not impressed.

After a week, seems to have worked where repair putty failed

I had a couple of pinhole leaks on the front bottom edge of my gas tank. Twice I tried using tank repair epoxy putty without success. I gave this kit a try and after a week I've had no signs of leaks... so far so good.
