The Vermont Castings Oil Mister is a convenient way to spray oil on food or cooking surfaces. The sprayer container can be refilled over and over again to minimize food waste and messy sticking food particles. This stainless steel oil sprayer is easy to clean and doesn’t use aerosol - simply pump the cap multiple times to increase the spray pressure, then watch as a fine mist of oil settles on your grill grates, barbecues, or pans.

Looks nice but not very good

Bought this for camping and the pumping system doesn’t work. The spray was quite poor, basically just spits out some olive oil or water for a quarter of a second and then you need to pump it again. Get a squeeze or trigger-style spray bottle instead.

It doesn't work very well. It only gives two spritzes per priming, well, actually one and a half. A surprisingly disappointing purchase from a reputable company.

Bought two while on sale, thank goodness. Didn't realize it was a pump up system, which would have been ok if it worked. Pump it up, and you can spray for about 2 seconds. Actually, useless. Would have returned but can't find the receipt.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is the pressure vessel inside this product made of plastic? I've had one before and the plastic vessel inside cracked so it couldn't build pressure anymore.

A: Yes, the internal parts of the unit is all plastic and it doesn't seem to hold up very well. It still works minimally but it stopped working well pretty quickly. Not a particularly well-made unit and definitely would not purchase it again!!!
