Twist oil drain system

Very good product! Glad to see them available for passenger vehicles. Use them regularly on larger equipment.

A child can change oil, effortless

a month ago

Proper installation is the key! Tighten the valve (the part that you replace the oil drain plug) to 18-20 foot pounds psi, if you don't have the torque wrench just go finger tight and then a quarter to half turn more with a wrench. Finger tighten the cap. When oil change time comes (hopefully within 4-5000 km), unscrew the cap and prepare the container where you want your dirty oil to go, screw in the oil release cap that has the hose hanging on its end and as you hand tighten this cap the dirty oil will start flowing. Leave it at this point to drain while changing your oil filter, go for lunch or coffee and when you come back in about 1 hr all dirty oil will be drained into your used oil jug, unscrew the oil release piece and screw back on the cap (finger tighten only), pour fresh oil and tap yourself on your shoulder, you just saved couple hundred bucks for changing your own oil lol.
