Uniden Camera 650 1080P Dash Camera

First of all contained no English instructions, only French and Spanish, I speak neither. Went back to store and got my English instructions. It is also missing the mini usb cable. Finally, inserted SD card, the recommended one "class 10 micro SD card and it wouldn't lock into pace just kept popping out, after a while SD card stayed in place however cam still gave message "insert SD card" Before I return it I want to see what Uniden says. This review asked me if I would recommend product, I said yes as I assume the problem will be rectified or replaced

My suction cup worked for about 3 months, and now it will not stay stuck to the window. Does anyone else have issues with this?

Bought this as my first Dash Cam. Recorded my first full day, went home to watch video on my computer and there was only one three minute video file there! Had to return and go with something else.

I don't know why all the negative feedback on this dash cam. I've been using it for a couple weeks and haven't had a problem. Seems like a lot of people don't know how to use it. It does record more than 3 mins per day, it records 3 min long videos and then saves it and then records another 3 mins, etc.The manual could be a little better but if you start looking through the menus on the device its pretty easy to navigate and set up how you want. Mine had a 8GB microSD included which seems to be enough but I would get a bigger one for a long trip, I clear it every couple days but you can save the files to your home PC if you want to review them later. One user gave the camera a one star rating because he didn't have room on his window next to his transponder...not really a problem with the camera. The video quality, ability to take still photos and night vision feature are nice. Love the fact that the power cord is long enough to tuck in along the headliner, down the A pillar and still have enough length to easily reach back to the power outlet. Overall I am really satisfied with this dashcam and would recommend trying this one before spending extra money for "higher end" models.

Used this cam for 10 week trip up north. 32 Gb type 10 SD card, on continuous loop mode, 3 min video clips, looks like its is working with red "record" icon flashing on screen.... but no, it only records the first 3 minute loop on each ignition power cycle. Nothing after that, despite looking like it is recording. If you depend on this device, MAKE SURE IT IS ACTUALLY RECORDING by checking your recordings every now and then. Also, screen sometimes just goes black randomly. Fix is to remove power until it dies (the power button freezes too - about 5 mins) then insert power plug again. I'm going to try to get my money back. Not happy.
