This actually works. After awhile I no longer needed to put batteries in it , just set it by the front door and when the dog saw it, she wouldn't bark.

Worked for a week - That's It

I have a chihuahua and papijack that love to bark. It stopped this immediately at first. My chihuahua even shook when I pressed the button. After about a week they didn't pay any attention to the unit. I even pressed the button right in their faces while barking and they didn't miss a beat. I never saw it work automatically. I don't think it did. A green light was always flashing as well. I returned the unit and was very happy to get my money back. This was a total waste of over $50.00

Do Not Waster Your Money

Do not waste your money on this item. Does not work. States in literature only good upto 10 feet. Bought to silence nieghbor dogs. Does not work. Dogs do not hear anything coming from this unit.

This is a waste of money. The battery doesn't last very long and your dog will get used to the pitching sound and ignore it.

A: When the unit emits the ultrasonic tone, the green light comes on. A flashing red light indicates that the battery needs to be changed.

Q: How do you know that the unit is working when they bark? It only seems to work when I press it.

Q: is this product for outdoor use?

A: I'm not too sure about that, but there is an outdoor version. It looks like birdhouse and supposedly works to a 50 foot area. I have this unit but might just get the birdhouse one anyway since I know it'll cover my apartment, lol.
