Surprisingly sturdy

Our hallway closet was causing me frustrations every time I opened it. I bought this as a temporary solution while I figure out permanent solution. But researching diy projects can take a while... Setting it up was easy and it feels surprisingly sturdy. We only use it to hold some sneakers and sandals, not sure if it would be sturdy enough for heavy work boots. It has an option to stack multiple of these. I think a second one would probably still hold up well if using for light footwear.

Q: i really need to know if this is weatherproof! i punched in outdoor shoe racks, for just like 6 shoes. and this came up , among others, that do not look outdoorsy ... would anyone know if this holds up outside? for the summer only
