Q: I would like to use this on my 1955 Chevrolet. Backup lights were not an option on my car. Can I turn the camera on manually before attaching it to the trunk?

Q: Vehicle 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS wagon. Wiring up camera to the positive & black (neutral) back up light only? Does this charge the camera battery? With engine off is the battery still charging ? how do you charge the battery?

Q: How long will the battery last if left on to watch behind you while you drive (ie. to the back of a trailer)? Answer to one question was "the camera was not designed to constantly be on" - what happens if left on for few hours?
4 years agoA: If you use the camera on it's own battery, the manual indicates that when the camera battery charge reaches 20% an icon will display on the monitor. If you wire it to a constant 12V connection, the image will always be on & it will always be charging up the camera battery & I assume that would solve your problem. Be advised that if the camera is always on, it will continue to draw power from the vehicle after the ignition is turned off & will probably kill your vehicle battery sooner than later.

Q: is this held on car by a magnet? couldnt anyone just pull it off and steal it ?
6 years agoA: Hi Jason, We have not gotten reports of people stealing these cameras. If someone did steal the camera, it would be useless without the monitor.

Q: I just bought Type S BehideView backup camera, installation is easy and everything is good, but only problem is “pairing failed “, the pairing problem between camera and monitor, Anyone can give me the idea of how to fix it ? Thanks !

Q: Has anyone had trouble charging the camera? I had it installed but can’t get the camera to charge with the charging cable.
