type A Wide Auto Garbage Bin/Can, Stainless Steel Motion Sensor Lid, 50-L
Hi I have the above motion sensor lid garbage can. Loves it but it gave out just after warranty. Is there any way I can get a replacement lid. Be nice to have a new motor and sensor.

lid defective

had this garbage bin for about a year and the lid started to not close properly and stays open half way. I changed the batteries and still not working properly.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I have motion sensor lid garbage can. The lid wouldn't open after batteries changed. Customer service said return it. Same with replacement. Tried removing batteries and pressing power. Now the lid won't open fully. Suggestions?

A: My only advice would be to return it and get your money back. I've had one for a little more than a year (I think) and it does the same thing. Pain to open it and it only works when I walk past . But that's my opinion,

A: If the garbage can is still under warranty, return it to Canadian Tire and exchange for another. Go into the store and look at the data that came with the can if y ou don't have yours still, and contact the manufacturer from there. Good Luck
