Not a floating shelf

This is not a floating shelf, which, in case you’re not sure what a floating shelf is, is shelf where the anchoring to the wall is hidden behind the shelf thickness, so it looks like the shelf is “floating” This is a standard shelf that sits on brackets that are attached to a wall mounted vertical rail in any number of slots locations.

No, I do not recommend this product.
