Big disappointment! Buy a Toro instead!

This mower is only good for 2 years! I've had problems after that with the front plastic breaking at the wheel height adjustment. Also the gear sprocket in one of the front wheels wore out because of different hardness of metal in the gears causing early wear. The Honda motor is not worth the cost because of cheap springs used in the auto choke. I have wasted my money on this mower!

Q: Rear bag door why does it not stay up and why is there a pocket on it that catches grass. when you remove the bag the door drops the graas in that pocket drops on the ground. Does not make sense

  • A: By design: The door is spring‑loaded to close Its primary safety function is to seal the rear discharge opening immediately when the bag is removed This prevents debris from being thrown toward the operator when the mower is running There is no latch, detent, or hold‑open feature on this door from the factory. When the bag comes off, the door is supposed to drop closed automatically

Q: How do I remove the spark plug?

  • A: Hello rene. Fit the spark plug socket over the plug and turn counterclockwise to loosen. If you’re having trouble ratcheting, don’t force it, as this may cause damage. Instead, apply lubricant and allow to soak for a few minutes. You should then be able to easily remove the plug. It’s important that you specifically use a spark plug socket, as these are specifically designed to protect the ceramic insulator. Attempting to remove or install a spark plug with inappropriate tools can result in damage. Thank you for your question.
