I bought mine before winter of 2020.Three stage design works perfectly.The unit is also equipped with power steering and heated handles.Machine is powerful and easy to handle, my previous one Columbia, was 28" wide/410 pounds, where Troy is 24"/195 pounds.New unit is lot better for my lower back (4 damaged disks...)

Key for me was heated handgrips but this snow blower offers much more: power steering; solid tyres; power chute rotation (which is a little too fast); cable operated chute elevation; electric start. Great Value!

Q: What would be the lowest and deepest snow this machine would be best for?

A: Thank you for your question. This full featured snow thrower includes Drift Cutters as standard equipment which can knock down snow over 2 feet high into the path of the augers. The intake height of the housing is 21" and this three-stage model will move snow through up to 50% faster than our conventional models. These machines do like to be 'loaded up' so if you're in a low snowfall area where only a few inches is the average you might consider the slightly smaller two-stage model #060-1317-8

A: Thank you for your question. This premium model features four-way electric chute control. Simply use your thumb to adjust pitch and direction of the discharge chute while continuing to blow snow!

Q: I can move the chute left or right manually but it will not move left or right on the electric switch it tries but will not. Any help would be great.
