i had my painted aluminum boat in the water a summer. theres a scum line and spray on, let it sit and brush and rince. back to its perfect condition.

Q: Is this product safe to use on a scum line that is located on the painted surface of an aluminum hull?

A: From the manufacturer: All of our products are formulated to be non-hazardous to health and non-corrosive to steel, skin & eye tissue. The products should be applied as per the designed application. Our products will not harm most surfaces if applied properly, but it is always recommended to spot test areas prior to use. The Hull Cleaner should be kept off your sacrificial anodes as pitting may occur. Do not allow prolonged exposure to soft metals such as Aluminum.
