Light weight, portable, affordable protection for travel and short term

I have been buying covers for my DRZ400 for 8 years now from CTC. They are usually the higher quality ones, and I wait for sales. I accidentally bought this one as I forgot which one I liked, and being on sale I went for the less expensive one. This cover is light weight and good for travel. It has a storage baggy. It is water repellent and the vent holes are great to let trapped moisture out. The material is light weight and can blow in the wind. I buy those tarp clips to add extra tie downs without damaging the cover. The next level up cover is more expensive but is very noticeably thicker, heavier material. I leave my bike out and covered year round, so it gets all the weather. I have an old thicker cover under this one that has a felt like inside to protect paint as this cover has nothing, and whenit moves with wind looks like it will eventually dull your paint if left year round (opinion because I have a protective layer cover beneath this one). I can say that they last 2 years and the UV attacks it. They seem to fade in about a year to grey, and lose the water propellant. The material also breaks down and degrades. Again, this is outdoors with zero cover or protection in the direct sun/rain/snow. This lighter one packs up nicely and is light weight. If you go to work and want to cover your bike, good option. If you leave your bike out all year or for the riding season, get the one up that is heavier, and add extra tie downs as the wind can make this balloon up and send your bike over like a sail. Happened twice to me until I had an axle stand fabricated for the opposing side of the kickstand. Properly secured it stays tight and protects the bike. Let it blow around and it shreds and likely will abrade your finish. So, in sum, light weight, portable, good weather protection for intermittent use. Upgrade to the more expensive one if you leave it out seasonally and I recommend getting tarp clips for added security for storms.

Q: Does this cover include an elastic all along the bottom edge of the cover? I bought the non-premium version of this cover and it has may 6 inches of elastic at the front and back and the rest just flaps around like a garbage bag.
