Q: I would like to use this paint to refinish an old bird bath. It’s made of concrete. Is it safe for birds and occasionally my dog to drink out of it?

A: I've used it on my birdbath fountain, touching it up every year. Many birds come year after year for a drink and a bath and there doesn't seem to be a problem. They still come, multiple times a day, some are the same birds (yes, I recognize them! Two are a dove couple but there are also robins and yellow finches) and I haven't had any dropping dead around the property.

Q: will it work on plastic?

A: If you apply it in light coats but not very well if the plastic is flexible. It tends to crack.
