Does the trick

The chain is strong, it's long enough to do both sides and it came with 2 quick links. I would have rated 5 stars if it had hooks w/ safety latches as the quick links dont work so well in ice and snow, you need wrenches to get them opened or closed once a little salt or sand gets in the threads.

this item has to have a latch on the hook to be MTO approved in Ontario. If you are pulled over you will get a ticket.

This is a great saftey chain, it is incredibly strong, in fact I even used it to pull out a F-150 that was stuck in the sand with my Jeep once when I didn't have a tow strap

I bought this chain spring 2007. It is very strong, and it has held up to the elements (rain/snow/ice/salt). I will buy another one for my 2nd boat when it's on special.
