The answer to our VHS problems.

Easy set up. Have only had it for a few days but it is the answer we have been looking for. A VHS that works on a newer television. It seems to work well in both modes. No complaints so far!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      • A: On the remote, make sure you are under what you want to record to such as a VHS Tape or DVD, then select "Record Mode", the remaining time on the TV Screen is the amount of time on the Tape or DVD that is available for that mode.

Q: Can you record well on this with CD-RW's? Has anyone actually recorded onto a CD-RW and played it back on the same unit without any problems at all? Will it record 6 hours on one CD? I want to replace my VCR's with DVD recorders but have not had luck with one working!!

      • A: This unit records well, but if you want to transfer video you will need to use recordable DVD's - NOT CD's.
