Q: Can you input more than one destination for a long trip to get a specific route?

Q: Does the packaging inclue an operation manual in booklet form ie printed form? The pdf version I have looked at on this web site won't expand so I can read it.

Q: Can I download current maps from other countries (e.g. Ireland) to this device?
7 years agoA: For the latest TomTom VIA 1615/1625 devices, if purchased in the US/Canada, the device comes with pre-installed maps of either USA or USA & Canada or USA, Canada and Mexico and the user is eligible to update the maps under our lifetime map subscription. The user of the device, can always update the pre-installed maps on the device from any part of the world, provided they have an active internet connection and MyDrive Connect software on the computer. In case the user wants to install additional maps of different regions/countries (apart from the pre-installed maps on the device), the user needs to purchase a map update subscription from TomTom website.

Q: Does it enable me to avoid any toll roads in advance ? As I don't have a transponder ! Only here on holiday !
7 years agoA: For all of our devices, there is a route planning preference where a user can manually select to avoid toll roads while planning a route. Q: Unit shows 63 in 65mph zone but dash says rpm in redline and over 200. Gps signal issue?
7 years agoA: 035-4052 does not have GPS signal issues. The image is not of the product actually in use.

Q: Does this model offer lifetime traffic updates? How does the lifetime traffic work? Do I need to purchase any additional parts?
8 years agoA: The 1615TM receives traffic VIA the RDS-TMC receiver that is included in the packaging. No smartphone connection is required.

Q: How does this device get traffic information? Some of the newer units require a smartphone (which uses your phone's data plan). Does this model require a smartphone to provide the traffic information? If not, does this package include a charger cable with an incorporated traffic receiver?
