this gun is great it is semi-automatic but you can buy a kit separately and upgrade it to fully- automatic. it has a lot space and rails to add more stuff (Sights & Flashlights & handle &...) to it...the bad thing about it is they selling that way expensive I found it cheaper somewhere else and I asked for price match. the good thing they did it for me.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Marker...Over Priced

The TPN line of markers from Tippmann is largely the same as the US ARMY line of markers found in the US. All that has changed is the materials used on the bolt spring and ball detents. With the Sierra One, you are essentially purchasing a 98 custom with HK rifle frame. Be wary of this because although a marker may look sick (which is can always be welcome) it may not necessarily perform that well. As far as mechanical semi-automatics go it shoots very smoothly and accurately. However, the feed system is not the greatest, so I would recommend purchasing a cyclone feed system from a paintball shop to get a better ball flow to the breach. The overall performance is great and can be improved with a simple upgrade. Durability on the other is where this marker slips. The ball detent on this marker will wear down in about 4000 shots, meaning after that point balls will roll out of the gun instead of fire (this occurs due to a different material used in the TPN marker series rather than more durable material used in the US ARMY Project Salvo marker). That's when you need to get them replaced. On the bright a ball detent is a very cheap part. On the note of replacing parts, I will warn you by saying that the disassembling process is a pain and you have to be very careful and attentive when doing so as the internals are a lot more complex than other markers. Overall, this as a cool looking gun with that tippmann reliability that we all know and love. Aside from a few component issues, there is no problem with the gun. A bonus I forgot to mention was the rail mount that allows you to put on cool attachments like sights and lasers. All this considered, the only real disadvantage here is the price. A standard tourney speedball gun usually goes for 300$ and putting that same price on a mechanical milsim marker is pushing it too far. If you are looking to get this marker, more power to you, but try to get it on sale or a lower price elsewhere. Happy paintballing!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: how do i switch from hopper to ammo magazine? if there is no way to use the magazine let me know and does it come with the magazine?

    3 Answers
    • A: The magazine is not actually a magazine. It is a tool kit in which you store your allen keys. Otherwise, it is just there to look cool.

Q: is this a us army project salvo?

    • A: Essentially, yes it is a US ARMY Project Salvo (which in turn is a moded 98 Custom). However, the material used on the ball detents is different, same with the bolt spring. The entire TPN line is essentially the US ARMY line for Canada with a few different materials.
