Overwhelming

When I first opened the bottle, the scent was overwhelming and was not pleasant.
My clothes smelt very strong of the detergent but the cleaning power is actually okay. I like the way my clothes were cleaned but it could be better.
When it comes to odors in my clothes, it doesn't seem to get rid of them completly I feel like it was just covering the odors with the scent.
The only good thing that came from using this detergent was the fact that when you leave your clothes in the closet for a few days the scent starts to reduce and you get a really light fresh smell that I actually enjoy.
I will not purchase this product again due to the smell and its not so great cleaning power. I also don't recommend to people who are sensitive to smell.

I’ve been having significant skin allergies for the past two years and finally realized tide changed its original and classic scent. Super bummed as used to love this detergent and smell, but wish your product had stayed consistent! Hope you bring it back

New "Original Scent" is terrible

I've been using Tide for 25+ years and this new scent is terrible. I simply can't use it, so I searching for another "warm water" brand. I can still use the "cold water" tide -- THANKFULLY, but we shall see if that changes too! (I hope not!)

I am going to have to throw out my large container of Tide. I can not stand the smell. I just don't understand how you can completely change the scent of the product and still call it Original scent.
