Ordered the product for a short bed truck but realized when going to fit this product that Thule actually identifies that as an "extra short bed". Cant return the item apparently so now I'm out 650 dollars.

this is the 2nd truck i have put this rack on, the sales rep was very helpful in making sure that the sliding rack I already had would fit on the new base rails for the new truck. it fit perfectly. the instructions for the bolt pattern left a bit to be interpreted, but we figured it out.

TracRac used to be better

I agree with "handyed". My old truck has the old TracRac system before Thule took over, and now my new truck needs new bed rails for the system, and the new rails are missing the inside 3rd rail, so now the bed divider is useless.

Q: Does this work with Bakflip hard tonneau cover? Does it mount on top of rail or inside the rail?

A: This Thule Rack fits above the rail, it will depend if your tonneau is flush or over the rails.
