Backpacker Mosquito Repeller is easy to use and provides hours of scent-free, mess-free mosquito defense up to 15 feet. With no batteries or cords needed, it utilizes the same camping gas canisters (not included) that backpackers and campers likely have in their bag already. It has a lightweight design (114g/4.0 oz) and compact size (97mm H x 50mm W x 67mm L) and provides dependable performance up to an elevation of 7,000 feet. Q: Is this the Gen 1 (red threads) or Gen 2 (blue threads)?
4 years agoA: I sincerely doubt these are Gen 2 as stated above. I would id them as Gen 1 for the following reasons. The second image in the listing clearly states it contains three refills, a bag and describes it as Gen 1. In the USA, a popular online store has both versions. Gen 2 comes with 4 refills instead of 3 and there's a bright yellow section saying it contains 16 hours of protection. The listed Gen 1 model has nothing about this mention of 16 hours of protection. It uses the exact same pictures as this Canadian Tire listing.

Q: part 1: How long does 1, 8 oz bottle of isobutante last? Part 2: Can you use pure butane?
5 years agoA: It is rated up to 90 hours of run time on a 4 oz canister and up to 360 hours on a 16 oz canister, so 8 oz should get approximately 180 hours
