Good storage box but mounting may be a challenge.

Box seems to be good quality. Advertised as being able to fit 2 L/XL helmets but that is not true. I had to trim the edges of the opening and then I was able to get a helmet in with a little force. On my Can Am Outlander Max, I had to take the back rack off in order to line up the box and drill holes for the u-bolts. I needed to leave 3-4 inches between the seat back and box in order to open the box cover.

Poor quality lid latches

These ATV utility boxes look great but the lid latches are of poor quality. The box itself is good but the latches for the lid are flimsy and will easily break.

Q: when you purchase this product does it come in a package or cardboard box? i bought one today in sturgeon falls it was lose the employee told me they dont come with packaging it was really scatched up but i needed it for the weekend so i took it

Q: The description says that this units fits two XL helmets with room to spare. Is that before the helmets go through a wood chipper or after? There's now way to get a single XL helmet inside this box in one piece, The opening is not large enough.

A: Its not a matter of will it fit but rather you should avoid it altogether. The price is attractive but the quality of the latches are very poor. I returned mine because of this.
