Cheap and expensive

First of all, be weary of the light button. I bought one of these a while ago, just opened it today and found out the light button just stuck in there, not connected to anything.
Secondly, I find the buttons to be sticker relative to other stopwatches I've used.
Thirdly, it's too expensive for what it is.. just a small normal watch with 3 plastic prongs, a plastic case and 6 screws and a faulty glow button.. I'd even recommend trying walmart before recommending this watch lol

Cheap, cheap, CHEAP! This stopwatch is made from ridiculously cheap plastic, and it's only a matter of time before it breaks in my hands. It is the same quality as a dollar store kid's toy. I will definitely be returning this and buying a different stopwatch elsewhere. Horrible quality. Canadian Tire should not have this on their shelves, period.

Right out of the box just holding it you can tell this is super cheap. Can't believe Canadian Tire would sell this. Belongs in a dollar store. Brand new the light doesn't work. Will be returned shortly.

I'm a soccer coach and referee. Bought one of these when starting out and wasted my money. Doesn't stand up to long term use. Cheap plastic innards break easily, rendering the buttons useless. Not much of a stop watch when you can no longer start or stop time!

Q: Type of battery required? Does this stopwatch (Product #84-0794-0) work with a 357/303 silver oxide batter?

A: the battery used is a LR44 (same type of battery you would find for a hearing aid).
