Q: Do you need to butter all down the bore or can you just wipe some around the rim?

1 Answer

A: To use it as an aid to cleaning a dirty bore, put the Bore Butter on a patch and make sure the whole barrel interior has a uniform coat. This will soften the powder fouling, and works especially well if you can let the barrel sit someplace reasonably warm for a few hours.
