Not Native To Our Zone!

Almost all of the plants in this collection are NOT NATIVE to our area, so they are of very little value to our pollinators like local butterflies and bees. Having some flowers is better than nothing, but in order to really support the local ecosystem and the pollinators, it's important to find plants that are originally from our region, so that the pollinators/bugs/birds can benefit not only from pollen but also the entire plant (as food source, habitat, etc). The only plant in this collection that is native to Canada is Liatris Spicata, so it makes sense to just buy a bag of those bulbs.
No, I do not recommend this product.
