Poor durability. Plastic cracked.

This product is not all silicone; only the pump and brush are silicone, the body and plunger are hard plastic. I had 2 of these products and both resulted in the plastic body cracking after use. I replaced the first one in store after it cracked. Now the second cracked too. See photos. I took care in using this product to avoid thermal shock when basting. This should not be necessary as basting involves the transfer of hot liquids. I will not buy this product again and I DO NOT recommend this product.
