Lids keep breaking

Bought about 8 of these. Their is just a small platic piece holding the spring to the cover, it seems to break very easily as 7 of my 8 lids have broken. I would have expected better quality coming from the most expensive container in the aisle.

I have similar T-fal container from a while back that is still working, however two from this set have broken in under a year. It seems that the plastic clip holding the two halves together broke under the tension of the spring.
