Bonjour, j'ai acheté ce produit mais il va servir à autre chose que pour mon auto. Je cherchais une polisseuse à plancher et ça n'existe plus.J ai regardé la circulaire et j'ai vu cet appareil. Pourquoi pas? me suis-je dit... et je suis vraiment enchantee. En spécial en plus Merci.

Basic, Medium-sized, Orbital Sander 8" diameter. Good for moderate size jobs.10" & 12" available.

I had a project to repair my passenger side door with Bondo, sand it, apply clear coat, wet sand it with various grades of sanding paper, wipe it down with rags after each sanding session, apply a de-gumming spray, wash it down with soap and water and dry it off. Then I was read to apply 3M Scratch Remover to the buffing pad that came as part of the kit with Simoniz Orbital sander. The buffing pad was a challenge to get on but it fit snugly once it covered the orbital rubberized pad which would rotate at one of two speeds. The lower speed was best suited to buffing with 3M Scratch Remover liquid. Once applied it was easy to distribute the 3M Scratch Remover over the entire door and buff it in for several minutes then wipe it off with a soft cloth and then repeat the process until the door came up to a nice shine that matched the original paint. I don't advise using the high-speed with the Orbital Palm Grip Polisher but I'm sure it would be good when applying the wax polish to bring it up to a spectacular shine. It's not the easiest tool to use. You need to steady with both hands. It's possible that a palm-sized orbital sander would be better if the area you have to sand is not too big because then you could control it with your right or left hand but if you have a big area to cover, like the hood of the car buy the 8 inch orbital sander but you can buy 10" and 12" orbital sanders with opposing handles which might be easier to use than the 8" orbital sander which requires you to hold the head of the sander grip with your left hand and the pistol/trigger grip with your right hand. It's okay, but you have to struggle to keep the sander going where you want it to go.
