    Loads of Fun

I purchased two of these for my daughters (5 and 7). They have been crashed many times. The tail prop blades break off right away but they are only cosmetic. Everything else is really tough and losing the tail blades doesn't seem to affect performance. They have been crashed into walls, floors, ceilings many, many times but they just keep on flying. The battery life also seems to be much better than expected. We are having lots of fun with them. I can't wait for them to go on sale again so I can get one for myself. Sometimes my daughters, especially the older one, are real stinkers and won't let me fly their helicopters. After begging, the younger usually gives in but I want to be able to grab a helicopter and fly around the house when I feel like it, without having to request permission :-)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Helicopter doesn't respond to remote

I just purchased this today. I followed the instructions (which are poorly written and very different between English and French), fully charging the helicopter and putting six batteries in the remote (not the 4 indicated). When it finally came time to turn on the helicopter and remote and for them to make a connection, it failed. Both devices turn on, but the blue indicator light on the remote remains flashing indicating that it is not connected to the helicopter. I have retried this several times in different ways, but no luck. Problems can happen with any toy, but my biggest issue with this is that there is no support available. Can't find anything online and there is no email or number to call. Most importantly the instructions are so poorly written and very inconsistent between English and French that it inspires little confidence. Will be returning this tomorrow.

    This copter is amazing!

Brought it home, put the batteries in the remote, charged the copter on my laptop with the included cord and was flying like a pro in no time. This is my first copter so I was amazed that it was so (relatively) easy to fly right out of the box. I let my 11 year old daughter practice zooming it around on our laminate flooring in the kitchen and she too was flying in the air after about 4 or 5 battery cycles! Both my daughter and I have crashed numerous times from over-flying our abilities but this little chopper keeps on ticking!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: why doesn't the helicopter start? batteries charged/ lights flashing but the blades don't even start to turn. no instructions. terrible product

    • A: Hello, after you snap the battery into your heli M19, and see the LED lights on the helicopter come on, turn on your controller and make sure its light comes on as well. The two devices need to sync up. To accomplish this quickly push the throttle stick (the left toggle stick on the controller) Up and then Down. By snapping the throttle up and then down (full to nothing) the copter should read that and sync. The controller light will flash quickly and then go solid. You are now synced, slowly ease the throttle up until the blades start spinning and your copter takes off.

Q: Gravity M19 RC helicopter keeps tilting and going ti its left on take off? Followed instructions that came with product.

    • A: All three of my M19's have taken off tilting to the left (port side). You can't fix it, just don't take off of carpet because the helicopter skids get snagged. Try to take off of hard smooth surfaces, it'll make it easier. Rps1 has a good suggestion, compensate and expect it to behave that way.

Q: Trying to fly out side but will not go i can get it to fly inside but not out

    • A: As it uses a forward bias balance to propel itself forward, there is no way to compensate for even a small amount of wind. If you try adding weight to the nose, you should be able to get it to fly outside in low wind conditions, but it will require some experimentation. Also, because it uses infrared lights for control, it may not work in direct sunlight.

Q: Any access to spare parts? I've broken the balance bar / fly bar (the rod at the top with the weighted ends). Tried fixing with crazy glue, no go. Any ideas on where one might find replacement parts?

    • A: I broke the balance bar as well. This heli looks like it's a toned down version (2ch vs 4ch) of the Syma F3 but I think the balance bar is the same. Search google for "Syma F3 balance bar"
