Great camera, terrible mic

Usually I don't do reviews, but this little guy came in handy when I needed todo a live Microsoft teams tutor session with a fellow chem student. Everything went well and the zoom works. Speaking of which, I've noticed that someone before me mistook the zoom for the privacy flap. That's used to cover the lens of the camera. Y'know. For privacy. Some of you eagle-eyed may have noticed my rating is 4/5. That's because the mic on this thing is terrible. I removed a single star because I view this thing's main job tobe a cam. If you view the mic as a 'bonus' then this'll work for you.

Not in stock even though it says one

The Smithers store says there is one in stock. We saw the spot where it should be, but there is not one in the case. We had an employee check and it wasn’t in the back either. We had to buy another one. I wouldn’t leave a review but this is the third item that this happened (pizza pans & Goo gone) where there were suppose to be several in stock on the app and none on the shelf and none to be found by an employee.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Webcam not working anymore

The webcam worked okey for the first couple online meetings unfortunately now the camera has colourful lines streaking it to the point that it is unusable. I will be going back to get a refund. I've only had it for 1 month.

Q: Does this plug&play webcam come with a USB cord? Or a plug into a wall socket cord?

A: Hi Bellesque - the webcam comes with a USB cable. It is not necessary to plug the camera into a "wall AC receptacle" as the unit is powered by the USB connection to the computer.

A: 3 feet. A little short for a floor "desk" top if you have a big monitor. But it works. 4 feet would give a bit more flexibility in setups.
