I am reviewing this light bulb as part of a contest. Unfortunately I have no dimmer switches in my house so I can not comment on that feature. It has a nice soft glow and the bulb stays cool. If the savings and 22 years of life are accurate I am highly recommending this bulb.

SYLVANIA LED 40 Watt Dimmable Light Bulb

The Sylvania LED soft white 40 watt dimmable light bulb that I have received from a contest that I entered,and I have installed in my touch lamp operates ok in turning the touch lamp on and off,but it does not dim at all,it just comes on at full brightness.The original non LED bulb that I had in the touch lamp was working in dimming the bulb as I touched it 3 times,but the new Sylvania LED bulb does not dim 3 times at all.

No, I do not recommend this product.
